Rowe Manufacturing, Inc. started out as the Pump Doctor in 1985.

There used to be an old saying, "Need was the mother of invention". We were having a hard time keeping sprayer pumps together on the 1000RPM tractors. After several attempts, we came up with a bracket to secure the pump to the tractor differential housing. A lot of other farmers, like ourselves, saw the bracket and wanted us to make them one. This was the beginning of the Pump Doctor.

In 1991, we moved from the farm near Garwin, Iowa to our present location in Gladbrook, Iowa and became Rowe Manufacturing, Inc. With this move, also came the introduction of the Hydra-Grip. Then in 1992 we introduced the Glad-Grip.

In 1994 we took on the dealership for GSI grain handling equipment. We build all kinds of grain setups, large and small.
